A new mole!
This one is also made from scratch from a Coyote Cafe recipe. It was supposed to be a mole verde (green), but I used dried ancho chiles instead of fresh poblano ones, so it came out red. But the flavors were good—no chocolate and so slightly sharp instead of rich. All blended together were cumin, fennel, cilantro, epazote (a strange and pungent Mexican herb), and lettuce.
Accompanied by still more good corn on the cob, even a day old.
Unccle my dear i have gotton so many great recipes and love we we had cooked for our dinner! For thanksgiving i have taken the liberty of desert in the familey. There will be no chocolate pudding though this time.Although our freezer is so much cleaner now. I am making a pumkin cake with a vanilla spice butter frosting
Love you
JD
